January 11, 2019 Hutcherson Leads Second Half Rally as Wesleyan Knocks off No. 6 Hamilton in Thriller, 73-69 Trailing by nine at halftime, Austin Hutcherson scored 24 points in the final 20 minutes of regulation to led the Wesleyan University men’s basketball team to a 73-69 thrilling victory over previously undefeated and nationally-ranked No. 6 Hamilton College on Friday night in Silloway Gymnasium.
March 12, 2018 D3hoops.com 2018 men's All-Northeast Region team After being national Rookie of the Year last season, Springfield sophomore Jake Ross is the Northeast Region Player of the Year. His coach, Charlie Brock, is the Coach of the Year and the Rookie of the Year award gets split between young stars from MIT and Wesleyan.
February 24, 2018 Krill Sends Wesleyan to NESCAC Finals with Buzzer-Beater as Cardinals Defeat Amherst, 65-63 Nathan Kill ’18 hit the game-winner from deep with :01.7 left on the clock to lift the fourth-seed and nationally-ranked No. 14 Wesleyan men’s basketball team to a thrilling 65-63 win over Little Three archrival and top-seeded Amherst on Saturday night in LeFrak Gymnasium. Krill posted a double-double with 29 points and 10 rebounds while hitting an incredible 7-of-11 shots from three-point range.
February 17, 2018 Sears and O’Brien Lead Second Half Rally as No. 4 Wesleyan Defeats No. 5 Middlebury, 73-65 The fourth-seeded Wesleyan University men’s basketball team advanced to the NESCAC Semifinals following an impressive second half rally led by Jordan Sears ’18 and Kevin O’Brien ’19 as the Cardinals defeated fifth-seeded Middlebury College, 73-65, on Saturday afternoon in a packed Silloway Gymnasium.
December 4, 2017 Men's Top 25 poll released With highly ranked teams losing on Saturday, there were lots of votes up for grabs near the top of the pole. Middlebury moves up, Wesleyan moves in and Baldwin Wallace makes its first appearance in the national rankings in more than a decade.
