March 14, 2026 Trinity-Tufts rematch, Chicago and Mary Washington The last two games of the day in the Division III round of 16 came down to the final possession, with Chicago surviving against Gustavus Adolphus and Mary Washington holding off UW-La Crosse. They joined Trinity and Tufts in the Elite 8.
March 7, 2026 Trinity, Emory survive; Hood moves on The round of 16 is set in Division III men's basketball, and that included Trinity (Conn.) once again needing to rally from a second-half deficit to win. Ben Pearce reached 2,000 career points as top seed Emory needed overtime to survive, while Hood ran past Redlands, Endicott survived at the buzzer, and much more in the second round.
