March 9, 2019 Francis punches Thunder's ticket with 62 Aston Francis scored a Division III NCAA Tournament record 62 points, including a fallaway 3-pointer in the corner with 11.7 seconds left to give Wheaton the lead for the final time. Swarthmore punched its first ticket to the semis as well, while CNU and UW-Oshkosh will make return trips.

Swarthmore Advances To Program's First NCAA Semifinal AMHERST, Mass.—For the first time in the history of Swarthmore College Men’s Basketball, the Garnet are bound for the NCAA Division III Final Four. No. 6 Swarthmore eliminated No. 14 Nichols College 69-65 on Saturday night in the Elite Eight on the campus of Amherst College. With the win, the Garnet have punched their ticket to the Final Four in Fort Wayne, Indiana on March 15, and will be vying with Christopher Newport University for a chance to play in the National Championship game on March 16. Swarthmore (28-3) has now won a program-high 14 straight games.
