August 28, 2025 Thomason to Lead Randolph Women’s Basketball Program LYNCHBURG, Va.- Randolph director of athletics Tom Galbraith announced Thursday the hiring of Polly Thomason as the next head coach of the WildCats women's basketball program. She replaces Steve Lanpher who left for an assistant position with Division I Cleveland State. Thomason will assume her duties at the start of September.
February 15, 2025 Saturday women: Flawless victory No. 3 Bowdoin completed a perfect regular season while No. 11 Trine executed its offense flawlessly at No. 15 Hope and No. 19 Randolph-Macon used a fourth-quarter shutout to win the ODAC regular season title. Elsewhere, UW-La Crosse made the WIAC race more interesting and Mary Schleusner dazzled again.
February 23, 2023 Randolph Women’s Hoops Knocks off Guilford 65-59 in ODAC Quarters; Advances to Semis on Saturday SALEM, Va.- For the second straight season, the Randolph women’s basketball team played an ODAC Quarterfinal game at the Salem Civic Center as the WildCats faced Guilford on Thursday afternoon. Randolph took a lead in the third quarter and held on in the end as they won by the score of 65-59.
February 22, 2023 Stark, Crenshaw-Patterson Named to All-Conference Team FOREST, Va.- The Old Dominion Athletic Conference announced its All-Conference Team for Women’s Basketball on Wednesday morning. Junior Kylie Stark (Lynchburg, Va./Brookville) was named to the First Team and sophomore Teniyah Crenshaw-Patterson (Newport News, Va./Heritage) was selected to the Third Team.
February 18, 2023 Randolph Women’s Basketball Defeats EMU on Senior Day 79-59 LYNCHBURG, Va.- It was Senior Day for the Randolph women’s basketball team as the WildCats hosted Eastern Mennonite on Saturday in their regular season home finale. The WildCats defeated the Royals 79-59.
