June 13, 2019 Nichols names Army assistant to be new coach For the second off season in a row, Nichols men's basketball followed a successful season with a coaching change. The Bison hired Army West Point assistant Brandon Linton to replace Scott Faucher who moved to Division II Assumption College.
March 9, 2019 Dream season ends with loss to Swarthmore in Elite 8 Junior DeAnte Bruton scored a game-high 22 points in No. 14 Nichols College's 69-65 loss to No. 6 Swarthmore in the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Elite Eight Saturday night at LaFrek Gymnasium on the campus of Amherst College.

March 8, 2019 Bison feeling Elite after win at No. 7 Amherst Senior Marcos Echevarria scored 18 of his game-high 22 points in the second half as No. 14 Nichols College stunned No. 7 Amherst 62-58 to advance to the Elite 8 of the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament Friday night at LaFrek Gymnasium on the campus of Amherst College.
March 2, 2019 Bison dance into Sweet 16 with win over Rowan Sophomore Matt Morrow recorded his 17th double-double of the season with 18 points and 17 rebounds to propel No. 14 Nichols College to the 'Sweet 16' for the first time in program history with an 87-79 win over Rowan University in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament Saturday night at Esbjornson Gymnasium on the campus of Rowan University.
