(NJCUGothicKnights.com) | Down 11 points with 5:33 remaining, New Jersey City University had a chance to force overtime on its final possession but Denzel Banks’ runner off the window went halfway down the cylinder before rolling out as Montclair State University survived for an 85-83 win over the Gothic Knights on December 11 at the John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center (Coach Charlie Brown Court). There were 14 lead changes and five ties.
December 4, 2019 William Paterson Knocks Down 19 Threes, Shocks #NJCUMBB 89-71 JERSEY CITY, N.J. (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | William Paterson University knocked down 19 three-point field goals, including 11 in the second half to break open a one-point halftime margin and upset the New Jersey City University men’s basketball team, 89-71 in New Jersey Athletic Conference action on December 4 at the John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center (Coach Charlie Brown Court).

(NJCUGothicKnights.com) | Unbeaten Colby College used three-point shooting to open a 40-28 halftime lead and outshot the New Jersey City University men’s basketball team in the second half, en route to an 81-67 non-conference road victory on November 30 at the John J. (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | New Jersey City University opened the second half on a decisive 25-5 run and men’s basketball coach Marc Brown moved within one win of 200 for his career as the Gothic Knights opened New Jersey Athletic Conference play with a lopsided 84-55 victory over Kean University on November 26 at the John J.
