April 29, 2018 Woldeslassie returns to Macalester to coach men's basketball Abe Woldeslassie comes to Macalester following a two-year stint as an assistant coach at Siena, where he helped the Saints advance to the finals of the 2017 MAAC tournament.
February 28, 2018 Whittle resigns at Macalester Tim Whittle, who was an assistant under Mark Edwards during Washington U.'s back-to-back national title season, resigned his position as head men's coach at Macalester.

February 1, 2014 Macalester wins in OT over Hamline The Scots rewarded their loyal fans with a 71-67 overtime victory over the Hamline Pipers at the Leonard Center, out-scoring their guests 9-5 in the extra session. Shooting 45% for the day, including 8-for-22 on three-pointers, the Scots gain their second MIAC win, moving to 3-16 overall and 2-12 in conference play.
January 20, 2014 Carleton defeats Macalester Taylor Hanson scored a career-best 34 points, going 12-for-16 from the rield and 10-for-11 from the free throw line, to lead Carleton (7-8 / 5-5 MIAC) to a win in St. Paul.
