November 12, 2019 Men’s Basketball Scores First Win of the Season, 66-56, Over Skidmore ONEONTA, NY – Four players reached double figures as Hartwick defeated defending Liberty League champion Skidmore Tuesday night at Lambros Arena, 66-56. The Hawks even up their record at 1-1. The Thoroughbreds were making their season debut.
November 8, 2019 Hawks Outlasted by Union in Opener SCHENECTADY, NY – Host Union grabbed the lead for good with the final bucket of the first half and held it throughout the second as the Dutchmen scored a 73-64 victory over Hartwick’s men’s basketball team on Friday night at the Viniar Center in Schenectady.
February 16, 2019 Hawks Downed at Stevens, 74-67 All nine Hawks made it into the scoring column but Hartwick had a tough night shooting the basketball on Saturday in a 74-67 loss to Stevens Institute of Technology (16-9, 9-7 E8) at Canavan Arena in Hoboken. The Hawks also could not overcome a strong shooting performance in the first half from the Ducks despite a valiant comeback late.
February 10, 2019 Men’s Basketball Falls Short in Battle With St. John Fisher Hartwick, which trailed St. John Fisher by as many as 17 points in the second half, fought back to take the lead with seven and a half minutes remaining on Sunday afternoon. The Cardinals, however, finished the game outscoring the Hawks 29-16 to take an 88-77 victory.
February 5, 2019 Hawks Win Shootout at Elmira, 106-99 ELMIRA, NY – Six different Hawks reached double figures and the Hawks dug deep after squandering a 21-point lead to pull out a 106-99 victory over Elmira on Tuesday night at Speidel Gymnasium. ’Wick has now won two in a row and improves to 9-13 overall and 5-8 in E8 play.
February 2, 2019 Men’s Basketball Scores 30-Point Victory on Senior Day ONEONTA, NY – Hartwick came through with a 30-point, 88-58, victory over Houghton on Saturday evening at Lambros Arena. The day served as Hartwick Senior Day with recognition of four-year players Brandon LaForest (Cohoes, NY/Cohoes) and Justin Carruthers (Greenwich, NY/Greenwich) prior to the contest.
