November 28, 2018 UD's Women's Basketball Fall in A-R-C Opener The University of Dubuque women's basketball team dug themselves a hole in the opening quarter on Wednesday, but would fight back in a 71-93 loss to the Loras College Duhawks. 
November 18, 2016 Spartans Downed by Cold Outside Shooting in Lakeland Univ. Tip-Off Tourney The Spartans opened the tournament Friday night and lost to Calvin College 55-68. UD's Emily Brinker pumped in 19 first half points en route to 25 points and five rebounds to lead the Spartans.

July 20, 2015 NWU gives up NAIA status, will join IIAC Nebraska Wesleyan, the lone remaining dual member of the NAIA and NCAA Division III, is giving up its NAIA affiliation effective July 2016 and joining the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference that fall.
February 26, 2015 Spartans Eliminated by Knights in Wild Finish After trailing for most of the second half, the University of Dubuque women's basketball team cut the Wartburg lead to one with 22 seconds to go, only to see the Knights hang on, 72-68, in the Iowa Conference (IIAC) semifinals thanks to a trio of free throws and a pivotal turnover down the stretch.
