February 13, 2026 Tartans Sweep WashU for Second Straight Season (ST. LOUIS, Mo.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women’s basketball team traveled to compete against 13th-ranked Washington University in St. Louis on Friday, February 13. The Tartans pulled ahead at the end of the fourth quarter for a 72-59 win to sweep the season series with the Bears for the second straight season. The victory puts the Tartans at 13-7 overall and 5-4 in the University Athletic Association (UAA) while the Bears are 16-5 and 7-3.
January 16, 2026 Tartans Take Down #13 WashU, 64-61 The Carnegie Mellon University women's basketball team defeated 13th-ranked Washington University in St. Louis at home on Friday, January 16 by a 64-61 score for its third straight win against the Bears. The Tartans are now 9-4 overall and 1-1 in the University Athletic Association (UAA) while the Bears are 10-3 and 1-1.

March 7, 2025 #25 Carnegie Mellon Wins 69-58 Over Bridgewater in NCAA First Round The Carnegie Mellon University women's basketball team opened the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship Tournament on Friday afternoon with a 69-58 victory over Bridgewater State University in Baltimore, Maryland at Johns Hopkins University to advance to the second round.
