Washington was sensational in leading the Grizzlies in a pair of games averaging 26.0 points, 6.0 assists, and 5.0 rebounds per game in games at Rose-Hulman and Earlham. He scored 26 points in each game and helped Franklin get its first win of the season at Earlham. Washington shot 51.9 percent (14-of-27) from the floor and made 88.5 percent (23-of-26) free throw attempts for the week. The point guard scored 16 of his 26 points in the second half in an 82-74 win at Earlham.
Chasin led Ithaca to a pair of wins last week after averaging 32.5 points and 12 rebounds. He posted his third double-double of the season against Wells with 27 points and a career-best 15 rebounds before tying his career-high on Thursday vs. Union with 38 points to go along with nine boards. Chasin shot a combined 26-for-41 and drained eight 3-pointers.
Garrick averaged 25.7 points on 58.2% shooting (32-for-55 from the floor, 11-for-24 from 3-point range) to go along with 5.0 rebounds per game in a 3-0 week for the Wildcats. He had game-highs of 28 points against Elms and 26 vs. Rivier and tied a career-high with six 3-pointers in a 91-72 victory vs. Rhode Island College.
Wosu was the catalyst with a pair of massive double-doubles in a 2-0 week for the first-place Gothic Knights, winners of seven in a row. He averaged 25.0 points and 16.5 rebounds while shooting a sizzling 66.7 percent from the field on 22-of-33 shooting. In two starts he tallied 50 points, 33 rebounds (16 offensive, 17 defensive) with four assists, four steals and a blocked shot.
Magnuson had 21 points and nine rebounds after halftime against St. John's en route to averaging 22.0 points and 8.5 rebounds per game for the week. He was 17-for-25 from the floor, 1-for-1 from beyond the arc and 9-for-9 from the foul line.
Harrison scored a game-high 32 points and had eight assists in a win over St. Joseph's-Brooklyn and tallied a game-high 29 points, eight assists and eight steals in a victory against Purchase. Harrison averaged 30.5 points, eight assists and five steals per game in a 2-0 week for Farmingdale State.
Hobbs averaged 24 points and 10 rebounds in two games this week, in which the Kohawks won at Carthage but lost to UW-Whitewater. She shot 51.4% from the floor and 63.6% from 3-point range in recording her second and third double-doubles of the year. Hobbs averaged 24.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game, along with 3.0 assists.
McConnell became the first Pirate player in more than 20 years to post back-to-back games of 30 or more points. She had a career-high 35 against Cal Lutheran and added 30 in a win over Southwestern. She also added 7.0 rebounds and 3.5 steals in the two games. Despite a high shot volume, KC still shot 51 percent from the floor (21-for-41) and was 19-for-22 from the foul line.
Christenson eclipsed the 1,000 career point mark in a win vs. Grinnell, as part of a week in which she averaged 27.0 points and 13.5 rebounds over two games. She also had six assists and four blocks for the week.
Hruz led the 8-0 Spartans to a pair of victories this week including a 55-49 CAC win over Mary Washington. She started the week with her fourth double-double of the year with 12 points and a career-high tying 15 rebounds in the Spartans' non-conference win over Goucher. Hruz was 4-for-8 from the floor and 4-for-6 from the free throw line in the win. She also had three assists, a blocked shot and a steal. Against Mary Washington, Hruz recorded her fourth straight double-double and her fifth of the year as she had a game-high 18 points and 13 rebounds. She was a perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line while she tied a school-record with seven blocked shots in the win. Hruz also had a pair of steals in the Spartans' win. For the week, Hruz averaged 15 points and 14 rebounds per game while she also averaged 4.0 blocked shots, 1.5 assists, and 1.5 steals.
