January 25, 2025 Saturday women: Titans felled at River Falls UW-River Falls upset unbeaten and fourth-ranked UW-Oshkosh on a day when most ranked teams rolled to victory. Elsewhere, No. 5 Bowdoin battled past Colby and into first place in the NESCAC while No. 6 Whitman downed Linfield and expanded its lead in the NWC. Read about it here.
December 3, 2022 Saturday: Ramtastic upset for Framingham A good woman was not hard to find for Framingham State. All-American Flannery Connor led the Rams to a victory over No. 6 Smith. Macy Nilsen’s fourth quarter also rated highly in UW-River Falls' win at No. 9 UW-Whitewater. Read about it in our women's wrap.
April 15, 2022 DuDonis resigns as UW-RF women's basketball coach Blake DuDonis, who coached UW-River Falls to a 19-40 record while his wife was an assistant coach at nearby University of Minnesota, resigns after Carly Thibault-DuDonis took the head coaching job at Fairfield, in Connecticut.
May 3, 2019 UW-River Falls hires former D1 assistant Blake DuDonis' resume includes several positions in and around women's basketball -- D1 assistant, SEC broadcaster, WNBA scout. Now he can add head coach to that list.
June 21, 2018 Holbrook steps down at UW-River Falls Cindy Holbrook stepped down from her position as UW-River Falls head coach to take a new position in the University's admissions office. She'll be replaced by her assistant Paul Richie on an interim basis.
