Baruch Defeats John Jay for 12th Straight Home Win, Bryler Paige Scores his 1,000th Point

The Baruch College Bearcats pulled away from the Bloodhounds of John Jay College in the final 12 minutes to record their twelfth straight home win in a 68-56 CUNYAC victory.

The Bearcats led the visiting Bloodhounds by four (45-41) with 12:35 left, but the Bearcats exploded for a 20-6 run over the next eight minutes to put the game out of reach.

Bryler Paige scored a team-high 18 points, which included scoring his 1,000th career point to become the 24th player in team history to reach the milestone.

William and Jack Sixsmith had 12 points each.

The visiting Bloodhounds shot 9-of-30 from 3-point range and were led in the scoring column by Doug Levy with 14 points and 14 rebounds.
