The National Association of Basketball Coaches today announced the coaches and team rosters for the 2020 Reese’s® Division III College All-Star game, which was scheduled to be played as part of the 2020 NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Championship. Reese’s brand is the official candy partner of the NCAA.

The Reese’s Division III College All-Star game is typically played prior to the national championship game, but this year was slated to go prior to the national semifinals, on Saturday, March 21, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The teams are composed of two senior student-athletes from each of the eight regions in Division III, two at-large selections and two seniors who were selected by online voting on D3hoops.com. Typically, players whose teams are still playing in the Division III NCAA Tournament were not available for consideration, however, that requirement was waived when the tournament was canceled.

Dafler was a member of the athletic coaching and administrative staffs at Marietta, Bethany, and Mount Union before moving on to Westminster in the fall of 1989. Along the way he served as a head basketball coach for 18 years, a head track & field coach for nine years, a head tennis coach for eight years, and an assistant basketball coach for 12 years. He was named athletic director at Westminster in 1999 and was a key figure in the institution's transition from NAIA to NCAA Division II and to NCAA Division III. He served four years on the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball committee, including serving as committee chair during the 2008-09 season. He has also served on the Membership Committee of the National Association of Basketball Coaches and as the chair of the Presidents' Athletic Conference Athletic Directors' Council.

Edwards spent 37 years on the sidelines at his alma mater. He led the Bears to back-to-back NCAA Division III national championships in 2008 and 2009 and his teams posted a 685-293 (.700) overall record. He is a three-time Division III National Coach of the Year and 10-time University Athletic Association Coach of the Year honoree. In 2007-08, Edwards guided WashU to its first-ever NCAA Division III national championship, a 25-6 overall record and a second-straight Final Four appearance.

A year later, the Bears recorded a school-record 29-2 overall mark and captured the 2009 NCAA Division III national championship. WashU became just the fourth school in D-III history to win back-to-back titles.
