NCAA Tournament weekend update

Sixty-two teams have already been eliminated from the tournament, some expected and some unexpected, some in dramatic fashion and some in hum-drum drummings. Here's a quick look at the first two rounds of the 2012 NCAA Tournaments:

2012 men's basketball bracket
All 62 teams on the Road to Salem, including sectional sites. The bracket will remain at the top of this page for the duration of the postseason.

No. 1 Hope knocked out
Illinois Wesleyan took down the No. 1 team in the country, handing Hope its only D-III defeat all season 108-101 in double overtime. More in the men's second-round wrapup.

Madness hits men's bracket
Becker, Edgewood, Carroll, Farmingdale State and Trinity (Texas) all knocked off higher-seeded host schools in Friday night's men's first round. More in the men's wrapup.

The Lady Monarchs rallied late to upset No. 8 William Paterson and Carthage knocked off No. 4 DePauw in the second round of the women's Division III tournament.
