Men's bracket is out!

Illinois Wesleyan has struggled with injuries this entire season but got enough done to extend it.

Could you imagine a national championship game of Whitworth vs. UW-Stevens Point? Or Augustana vs. Wooster? Middlebury vs. Williams? Or even a UW-Stevens Point-Williams rematch?

Any of those could happen in this year's men's basketball Division III NCAA Tournament.

The release of the bracket dashes hopes of bubble teams everywhere, including ones we projected into the field such as Carleton and Kean. We thought those teams had done enough, but the NCAA differed. Instead, the committee took a second American Southwest Conference at-large team, for a total of three from the ASC, and took Illinois Wesleyan.

Games start Thursday night for the teams that play into a first-round bye. Byes went to McMurry (geography), Middlebury (high seed) and Whitworth (both).

Who got snubbed? Vote on the front page. Plus watch Hoopsville, where we will break it down at 4 p.m. ET.
