Old friend comes back for Salem finale
Nebraska Wesleyan finished as national runner-up here in Salem back in 1997, finishing a run of four trips to the Division III Final Four. And on the fifth trip, the Prairie Wolves picked up the ultimate trophy: Walnut and Bronze. Ryan Scott with more from Salem.

Oshkosh, NWU book trip to title game
UW-Oshkosh became the fifth Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference team to play in the Division III national championship game, while Nebraska Wesleyan knocked off Springfield in overtime to return to the title game for the first time in 21 years.

One of the last teams in the field was the first team to punch a ticket to Salem, while Ramapo ended the NJAC's Final Four drought, Nebraska Wesleyan steamrolled the No. 1 team out and UW-Oshkosh won in overtime.

Nate Schimonitz scored with 3.1 seconds left in the game to win at UW-Platteville, while Springfield defeated Hamilton in overtime to advance to the Elite Eight in thrilling games.

Whitman holds off Claremont in OT

Aurora upsets Wash U. with buzzer beater
After Wash U. tied the game with 1.6 seconds left, Aurora's Max Vickers unleashed a 75-foot pass from out of bounds that Marcus Myers corralled and launched a jumper from the wing for the game-winner as time expired.

Claremont-Mudd-Scripps made the No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup disappear into thin air, Bethany Lutheran knocked St. John's out of the tournament, Cabrini won in the closing seconds and Augustana rallied past the System in a wild opening round to the 2018 Division III NCAA Tournament.

Men: Bubbles mostly preserved...so far
Bubble teams could breathe a little easier after Ramapo, Wittenberg and Plattsburgh State took care of business on Saturday afternoon. Plus it was a banner day for Bethany Lutheran, Greenville and New England College which are headed to the Tournament for the first time ever.
