Thomas More has taken the step of witholding Player of the Year Sydney Moss from games pending a review of NCAA compliance within the program.

Moss, who did not play in tonight's season opener vs. Denison, has played two seasons at Thomas More after starting her career at the University of Florida.

"The College's decision to withhold Sydney from competition at this time should in no way be construed as an indication of a NCAA rules violation by Sydney," a college news release reads. "The College is unable to further comment on this matter during the period of the review. We look forward to publicly discussing the matter at the conclusion of the review."

Thomas More won by the score of 62-48. The Saints have won 34 consecutive games.
