The Blazers are led by 5-11 forward Anna Heikenen and 6-4 center Kim Johnson, who both repeated as All-MIAC First Team selections this year. Both reached 1,000 career points this season, and Johnson became only the 2nd Blazer to reach 800 rebounds

Coach Mike Durbin (Kent State '81) is 431-115 in his 19th season at CSB ...

Scott Rueck (Oregon State '91) is 164-66 (.713) to date in his 9th season as a college head coach, all at George Fox.

George Fox is making its third appearance in the Division III NCAA Tournament, having also made it in 1999-2000 and 2000-01. Counting this year's 2nd-round win over Chapman, the Bruins are 3-2 in NCAA Tournament play.

St. Benedict's Heikenen is 19-for-21 (.905) in the NCAA Tournament from the free-throw line. During the postseason, she is 39-for-49 (.796) and on the season she is 143-for-194 (.737).

Trinity has won seven playoff games in a row, dating to 2003's national title run, and has never lost in two home playoff appearances.

In postseason play, the Blazers have blocked 24 shots, with their opponents recording only eight. The Blazers recorded a season-best 12 blocks against Simpson (March 2).

Trinity is 70-10 since Jenna Smith joined the team midway through the 2002-03 season. Smith leads the team in scoring, rebounding, and steals in the NCAA playoffs.

When scoring 70 points or more the Blazers are 21-1.

Liz Clark had a career-high 20 rebounds in the Bruin' NCAA Tournament win against Chapman on Saturday, giving her 726 for her four-year career.

George Fox's Kim Leith scored 10 points vs. Chapman on Saturday, giving her 960 in her three-year career. She needs 30 to tie Heidi Rueck (990, 1991-95) for 10th all-time, and 40 to become the 9th Bruin to reach 1,000 career points.

Trinity center Tara Rohde was named the 2005 recipient of the Jostens Trophy, awarded to the most outstanding men and women’s Division III basketball players of the year. The award takes into account basketball ability, academic prowess and community service. The trophy models the Rotary motto of “Service above Self” by recognizing those who truly fit the ideal of the well-rounded Division III student-athlete. The political science and economics major has a 3.87 GPA and averages 16.7 points and 7.4 rebounds per contest.
