The WIAC MVP, Brunson led the nation
in three-point percentage after finishing as the runner-up in 1998.
The junior was named MVP of the Final Four after averaging 22.5
points in the two games and tying a Final Four record with a 6-for-7
performance from downtown in the semifinals. Brunson reached double
figures in all 32 games and scored 20 points 11 times in the final
16 games for the Pioneers.

Lewis finished as the nation's second leading scorer (29.1
ppg) and scored 30 or more points 12 times this season, including 40 or more points twice. The senior helped Lincoln win a school-record 14 consecutive games to finish 18-6, including scoring the final 14 points of the game in the Lions' final win, a 91-87 defeat of Allentown in the ECAC tournament. He finished his career with 2,294 career points.

Devean George
Named
the MIAC's MVP for the second year in a row, George finished his
career second with 2,258 career points and 868 career rebounds,
falling just 13 points short of the school's career scoring record,
2,271 points, set by now-coach Brian Ammann from 1981-85. His regular-season
average of 28.1 ppg (No. 3 in D-III) and 11.5 rpg (No. 8) made him
one of two players in Division III to average a double-double with
at least 20 points per game. He scored in double figures in all
28 games in 1998-99 and 85 times in his last 86 games. He had 37
double-doubles in his career, including 21 this season.
George scored at least 20 points 63
times, 30-plus points 21 times and 40-plus points five times (three
in 1998-99). He set an Augsburg single-game record with 52 points
in a 105-97 OT win at Carleton on Jan. 16, scored 47 points in a
122-121 four-overtime win at D-II St. Cloud State on Nov. 24, and
had 40 points in a 78-67 win at Concordia-Moorhead on Jan. 23. Augsburg
was 71-25 in games he played.

goal percentage mark with a 61.8% (213-for-374) performance from
the field this season, helping Anderson to its best winning percentage
since the 1962-63 team (also 20-6). His top performances included
29 points against conference champ Franklin and a career-high 43
against Wabash.

conference and NCAA playoff berth. The team's leading scorer in 14 of 26 games, Coon tallied a career-high 38 against NAIA Olivet Nazarene on Dec. 7. He shot 48.7% from beyond the arc (74-for-152) and 88.3% from the free-throw line (128-for-145).

Sibley
helped Franklin earn its first trip to the Sweet 16 and two consecutive
berths in the NCAA tournament. He was named Co-MVP in Heartland
Collegiate Athletic Conference (shared with co-second teamer Antwann
Jones of Manchester) and MVP of the HCAC tournament after leading
Grizzlies to their first conference tourney title. Ranked 25th in
scoring average in NCAA Division III at 21.6 points per game in
NCAA's last regular season stat rankings and 19th in steals at 2.9
per game. Sibley owns Franklin's career steals record with 257 and
finished as Franklin's 10th-leading all-time scorer (1,469 points).

Schantz ranked sixth in the nation in scoring and second in rebounding, making him one of only two players in the country (along with
first-teamer Devean George) to be ranked in the top ten in both categories. His 2,117 points and 1,132 rebounds make him only the second Hamilton player in school history to score at least 2,000 points and grab more than 1,000 rebounds in a career.

suffering a torn ACL in the offseason, last year's Team of the Year
center did not miss a start in leading Simpson to the IIAC championship
game. Doll averaged 19 points and 19 rebounds during the conference
tournament, including a 24-point and career-high 23-rebound performance
against Coe in the semifinals. His 56.2% shooting mark from the
floor led the conference.
