D3hoops.com's All-America team
Each year since 1998, D3hoops.com has selected an All-American team. We announce our All-American teams during our audio broadcast of the national title game on an annual basis.
Congratulations to our 2008 All-Americans! Troy Ruths of Washington U. was named the D3hoops.com Player of the Year for men's basketball and Howard Payne's Meia Daniels was named the D3hoops.com Player of the Year for women's basketball.
Early All-America teams were referred to as the Team of the Year. Beginning in 2001-02, D3hoops.com introduced All-Region teams, voted on by Sports Information Directors, with All-Region nominees considered for All-American status.
