Our sixth Team of the Week for the 1998-99 season. There's some old and some new names on the men's team.

Lincoln's Darrel Lewis was nominated for the Team of the Week for the first time and made the team with 62 points in two games. The senior added a 10.5 rebound average and eight assists per game while shooting 90% from the foul line. Lewis has 1,983 career points.

Anderson guard Brent Brobston averaged 20.5 points in two games and was 11-for-18 from the floor, 18-for-23 from the line. The senior added 11 rebounds and five assists.

Another newcomer is Sean Bradley, senior forward for Kings Point. In a 3-0 week, Bradley shot 35-for-55 from the floor and totaled 85 points, 31 rebounds, 10 assists and 10 steals.

The Team of the Week welcomes back Augsburg senior Devean George. The forward scored 65 points in 66 minutes, averaging 9.5 rebounds while only turning the ball over three times. He had 25 points and 11 rebounds in a win against Hamline and 40 points and eight rebounds in a 78-67 win against Concordia-Moorhead. George now has 1,932 career points and has scored in double figures 71 times in his last 72-game career.

And another frequent contributor plays center: Adam Doll. The Simpson senior averaged 17 points and 15.5 rebounds in two games, shooting 10-for-17 from the floor while adding five assists.

On the women's side, Marymount guard Rachel Taylor averaged 16 points and 5.5 assists in leading the Saints to a 2-0 week. The junior shot 11-for-22 from the floor and 4-for-6 from three-point range, adding 5.0 steals.

Krissi Diachisin averaged 15.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in a 3-0 week. The senior guard was Colby-Sawyer's leading scorer with 16 points at Bowdoin and 19 points versus Salve Regina. Diachisin helped the Chargers record their first-ever win at Bowdoin by scoring seven of the team's final 14 points in regulation and assisting on the game-tying basket that sent the game into overtime.

Susquehanna forward Kristen Venne recorded her fourth and fifth consecutive double-double while averaging 18.0 points and 15.5 rebounds per game, shooting 58.3% from the field (14-for-24) and 72.7% from the line (8-for-11) last week in leading her team to a pair of MAC wins.

Hendrix forward Jessica Atkinson makes the team for the first time on the strength of her 16-for-19 shooting, averaging 18.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. The sophomore also added four assists and four steals.

Gallaudet's Ronda Jo Miller was easily the best center again this week, scoring 53 points in 53 minutes in two conference wins. The junior added free-throw shooting to her usual arsenal (26.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.5 blocks, 3.0 assists) by making 11 of 12 from the charity stripe.
