Leigh Ann Burke
Burke averaged 29 points, six rebounds, and 3.5 steals per game leading DeSales to two wins. She started the week with a season-high 34 points and a career-high nine rebounds in the win over Wesley and finished the week with 24 points and three steals in the win over Baruch.  She went 14-for-14 from the free throw line for the week.

Meia Daniels
Daniels had 11 steals in the 88-59 win over Texas-Tyler. She also had a huge game earlier in the week versus Texas-Dallas, scoring 24 points on 60% schooting in only 25 minutes of action. Daniels had only three turnovers in 61 minutes of play for the week.

Ashley Stanfill
Stanfill averaged 24.5 points and 11 rebounds in leading the Blue Jays to two non-conference wins to start the New Year. She scored a career-high 32 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in an 84-77 home win over Haskell. Stanfill scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds in an 84-39 win at Lincoln Christian.

Kathleen Brown
Brown was named MVP of the Marymount Holiday Classic. In a 69-60 win over UMass.-Dartmouth, she had a career-high 19 rebounds and went 10-11 from the free-throw line. In a win over F&M in the championship she had a double-double at the half and tied her career mark for scoring with 32.

Tamika Curtis
In a loss at Elmhurst, Curtis became the Benedictine women's basketball career scoring leader finishing the game with 22 points. In a NAC win over Concordia Chicago, she had 24 points, 19 rebounds and four blocks. For the week, Curtis shot 70.4% from the field.

Men's
Steve Taylor
Taylor helped the Wildcats win their first two conference games of the season by shooting 13-of-20 from behind the arc. In a 77-70 win over Whitworth, he had 18 points, six rebounds, and two steals. He followed that performance with 30 points (10-of-14 from three), six assists, and two steals in a 109-81 win over Whitman.

Chad McGowan
McGowan led the Spartans to a trio of wins for the week including the championship of the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic. In the 80-74 win over then-unbeaten Elizabethtown in the tournament championship, he had 21 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, four blocks, and three steals. McGowan was named tournament MVP for his efforts.

Luke Linz
Linz had a career-high 30 points in Concordia's 90-73 win over league-leading Macalester. In the game, he was 12-for-18 (66.7%) from the floor, 2-for-4 (50.0%) from 3-point range and a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line. Linz also had eight rebounds and a career-high seven assists on the day.

Joe Spierenburg
Spierenburg posted his third double-double of the season in Gettysburg's 94-87 overtime victory at Hood. He posted a career-high 23 points and 11 rebounds, and he also handed out five assists and blocked five shots. He shot 9-for-13 from the field, and his layup and free throw with 43 seconds left in overtime gave the Bullets the lead for good.

Andrew Zimmer
Zimmer was named North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Player of the Week after averaging 21.5 points in league wins over Allegheny and Hiram. He scored 13 points against Allegheny, going 6-of-7 from the field with five rebounds, three assists, and two blocks. Saturday he scored a season-high 30 points in an 80-60 win over Hiram, including a perfect 7-of-7 from the free throw line. Zimmer recorded his third double-double of the season with 13 boards against the Terriers.
