February 21, 2017 WIAC champions, b'gosh! UW-Oshkosh had been on the verge of winning the WIAC title since shortly after coach Brad Fischer arrived. Last week the Titans broke through with senior point guard Taylor Schmidt leading the charge. Erik Buchinger has their story in Around the Central.
February 15, 2017 Wednesday: Pitt's stop leads to victory UW-Oshkosh edged Whitewater thanks to Jaimee Pitt's game-saving steal and won its 12th WIAC women's basketball title. Elsewhere Scranton extended its road winning streak and WPI created havoc in the NEWMAC race.
December 10, 2016 Saturday women: Use the fourth Big fourth quarters propelled Ithaca, Montclair State and UW-Oshkosh to wins in different ways. The Bombers rallied past No. 9 Rochester on the road while Montclair State pulled away from Rowan and Oshkosh put away Wheaton in the final periods. Get the full recap from the day.
February 25, 2016 Thursday: So much for style points Kendall Parker scored 36 points for Mary Washington while UW-Oshkosh scored 38 points total. But both teams advanced through the semifinals of their tournaments. On the men's side Pacific Lutheran upset Whitman, John Carroll streaked past Mount Union and there's a Cinderella in the Skyline Conference.
