March 17, 2018 2018 D3hoops.com women's All-Americans Of the thousands of players in Division III women's basketball, these are the 25 we picked as the best in the country. Bowdoin's Kate Kerrigan was selected Player of the Year and Savannah LeGate of Oglethorpe Rookie of the Year.
March 12, 2018 D3hoops.com 2018 women's All-South Region team Randolph-Macon's Kelly Williams was the unanimous choice as South Region Player of the Year. Oglethorpe's Savannah LeGate, who was SAA Player of the Year, is Rookie of the Year. And Rusty Rainbolt who turned East Texas Baptist from a three-win team to a near national semifinalist is Coach of the Year.
March 2, 2018 Oglethorpe's Season Comes to Close with NCAA Tournament Loss at Thomas More The Oglethorpe women's basketball team saw their outstanding season come to a close Friday night in the first round of the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship, as the homestanding No. 3 Thomas More Saints just proved to be too much for the Stormy Petrels, defeating them 84-58 at Connor Convocation Center in Crestview Hills, Kentucky. The defeat meant that the Petrels ended their season at 21-8, the best record the program has enjoyed since the 2008-09 season.

February 25, 2018 Stormy Petrels Capture First SAA Championship with Thrilling Overtime Victory over Hendrix The Oglethorpe women's basketball team won its first SAA championship and its second conference championship overall Sunday afternoon with a 70-69 overtime victory over the Hendrix Warriors in a classic game at Dorough Field House. The victory won the program its first conference title since the 2008-09 team won the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference crown.
February 24, 2018 Stormy Petrels Advance to SAA Championship Game with 75-54 Win over Berry The top-seeded Oglethorpe women's basketball team defeated the No. 4 seed Berry Vikings 75-54 in the SAA Tournament semifinals Saturday evening at Dorough Field House, advancing to the SAA Tournament championship game for the first time in their history and to a conference championship game for the first time since 2009. The victory also improved the squad to 20-7 on the season, giving the Petrels 20 wins in a season for the first time since 2009, as well.
