News Releases

March 12, 2018 D3hoops.com 2018 men's All-Northeast Region team After being national Rookie of the Year last season, Springfield sophomore Jake Ross is the Northeast Region Player of the Year. His coach, Charlie Brock, is the Coach of the Year and the Rookie of the Year award gets split between young stars from MIT and Wesleyan.
March 5, 2018 Back on track At the beginning of the season, MIT served notice that it would be a force to contend with, as it battled Harvard to the wire. The Engineers haven't looked like that team the entire season, but they have made the Sweet 16, and they might be getting a key piece back. More in a Road to Salem feature by Ryan Scott.
March 4, 2018 Hoopsville: Wacky Weekend With parity comes unexpected outcomes. We've been saying it for most of the year. On Sunday night's Hoopsville, Dave talks to a number of programs that escaped a wild and wacky opening weekend. You can watch the show On Demand or listen to the podcasts by clicking here:
February 10, 2018 Men: Seven ranked teams upset Saturday afternoon Wittenberg? No longer unbeaten. Middlebury? Fell again. MIT? Still reeling. Plus Swarthmore went down in double overtime, Lyco lost its third in four games, York fell at home and the top 10 didn't agree with Eastern Connecticut so much. More in the wrapup.
January 9, 2018 Engineering a consistent run Consistency, as any coach or player would tell you, is not easy to maintain, but somehow Larry Anderson’s MIT men's basketball program has found a way to remain consistent for quite some time, especially in a competitive NEWMAC.
December 17, 2017 Hoopsville: Slightly Subdued? Finals are done, students are headed home for the holidays, but basketball is still being played. On Sunday's Hoopsville, Dave and guests look back at a slightly subdued week of hoops. Or was it? Catch up on Hoopsville On Demand now.
