October 4, 2017 Hiram selects alumna for new coach Hiram selected Alex Dellas as its new head women's basketball coach. Dellas, who graduated from the College in 2010, replaces Emily Hays who left for the head coaching position at Dickinson.
August 4, 2017 Dickinson hires Hays away from Hiram After losing its head women's basketball coach to Johns Hopkins, Dickinson found her replacement at Hiram. Emily Hays will fill the Red Devils' vacancy after three seasons with the Terriers.

January 25, 2017 Hiram Women's Hoops Secures Winning Season with 74-50 Victory at Wooster Jan. 25 – WOOSTER, Ohio – The Hiram College women’s basketball team matched a program high, sixth North Coast Athletic Conference victory, and guaranteed themselves a winning season, defeating The College of Wooster 74-50 on Wednesday evening.
January 11, 2017 Hiram Women's Basketball Sets New Program Standard with Win over Ohio Wesleyan Jan. 11 – HIRAM, Ohio – The 2016-17 version of the Hiram College women's basketball team will now be the standard with which future versions of the program will be measured. Still with nine games remaining in the regular season, the Terriers broke the single-season mark for wins by capturing their 13th in a 65-63 triumph over Ohio Wesleyan.
