March 19, 2018 Women's top 25 poll released The final Top 25 poll of the season, including NCAA Tournament results, has East Texas Baptist in 11th after its surprising run to the sectional finals. Plus Rochester Tech and St. Joseph's (Maine) make their first ever appearance in our national rankings.
March 12, 2018 D3hoops.com 2018 women's All-South Region team Randolph-Macon's Kelly Williams was the unanimous choice as South Region Player of the Year. Oglethorpe's Savannah LeGate, who was SAA Player of the Year, is Rookie of the Year. And Rusty Rainbolt who turned East Texas Baptist from a three-win team to a near national semifinalist is Coach of the Year.

ETBU is heading to their first Elite Eight in program history and now have a 25-6 record winning their last six games.

March 3, 2018 @ETBU_WBSK Moves onto Sweet 16 Upsetting Texas Dallas RICHARDSON, Texas - After a tightly fought first quarter, the East Texas Baptist women's basketball suddenly caught fire for the rest of the game as they would upset the University of Texas Dallas Comets for the second time in two weeks winning 64-51 in the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament. The Tigers will continue to dance as they will advance to the Sweet 16 for the first time in program history and are now 24-6 on the year.
