January 15, 2017 BSC Outlasts Berry in 83-76 Overtime Thriller BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's basketball team fought through a tough battle with Berry College Sunday afternoon in their second overtime bout this season to win 83-76. The Panthers are now 7-9 overall and move to 3-2 in Southern Athletic Association play.
January 13, 2017 BSC Defeats Oglethorpe 82-68, Move to 2-2 in SAA BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's basketball team jumped out to a quick lead against Southern Athletic Association rival Oglethorpe University and never looked back. The Panthers cruised to an 82-68 win Friday night to improve to 6-9 overall and 2-2 in SAA play.
January 2, 2017 BSC Men Win Overtime Thriller 69-68 at Millsaps JACKSON, Miss. – The Birmingham-Southern men's basketball team held on for the 69-68 overtime win at Millsaps College Monday evening to open Southern Athletic Association play 1-0. The Panthers improved to 5-6 overall with the win.
December 10, 2016 BSC Falls on Road at Maryville MARYVILLE, Tenn. – A big second half from Maryville College downed the Birmingham-Southern men's basketball team 70-57 Saturday afternoon.
December 3, 2016 BSC Panthers Comeback to Defeat Huntingdon 81-73 BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's basketball team stopped a two-game skid Saturday afternoon by completing a comeback against Huntingdon College to win 81-73 in Bill Battle Coliseum. It was Blackout Night as the Panthers raised money for cancer research.
November 30, 2016 BSC Men Rally Late, Fall Short in Battle with Emory The Panthers (2-3) were led offensively by Ian Thom (Cold Spring, N.Y./Croton-Harmon HS). He finished with a game-high 17 points. Evan Lewis (Birmingham, Ala./Ramsay HS) and Matty Rudak (Augustów, Poland / Millbrook School (NY)) also earned double-digit points. The pair picked up 14 and 11 points, respectively. Rudak earned a team-high six rebounds.
