  • Jeff Jean-Baptiste Promoted to Interim Head Men's Basketball Coach

    Announced on June 19, 2018 by Brooklyn College Director of Athletics, Recreation and Intramurals, Bruce Filosa, Jeff Jean-Baptiste was promoted to Interim Head Men's Basketball Coach following his first season as Associate Head Coach. He replaces fellow Brooklyn College alumn, Rich Micallef, after four seasons at the helm of the program.

    The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced today the 2018 NABC Give Back Team, recognizing 10 men’s college basketball players for their outstanding community service efforts. Carnegie Mellon University senior Ryan Maha (West Mifflin, Pa.) was one of those 10 from a nominated list of student-athletes by college coaches and sports information directors across the country. The 2018 Give Back Team includes five student-athletes from NCAA® Division I and five from NCAA Division II and III and NAIA Division I and II.

With the win, the Roadrunners advance to the Final Four for the second time in program history. The 1991 Roadrunners finished with a 24-8 overall mark, advancing to the NCAA Final Four. The win also concludes a perfect 14-0 record for the Roadrunners at home this season.
