Blue Jay Men Get NCAA Marching Orders Monday
Fulton, Mo. – Saturday, February 25, will go down in Westminster College history as A GREAT TO BE A BLUE JAY. Joe James made a buzzer beater to lift the Blue Jay men past MacMurray College 58-56 in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) men's basketball tournament final in St. Louis. And, then the Blue Jay women toppled Eureka College 60-54 in Fulton to claim the women's title. Now both teams are dancing into their respective NCAA Division III national tournaments.
Fans of Westminster College basketball can join the madness and find out where the Blue Jay men and women will be playing when the NCAA tournament selections are announced on Monday. The NCAA selection shows air at 11:00 a.m. for the women and at 1:30 p.m. for the men. Both shows can be accessed on the NCAA site.
