The recipient of a few of Comstock's passes, senior Keith Schneider (Benson, Vt.) added a career-high 17 points to go with three rebounds and three assists. Greg Hughes (West Rutland, Vt.) was the only other Spartan in double figures with 15 on 5-for-7 shooting from downtown.

The Spartans used a 13-6 run to open the second half and push their lead to 23, 70-47, in just four minutes. Castleton pressed its advantage as high as 30 with 11:48 left, before the Badgers eventually cut it down to the 17-point final tally of 104-87.
