NJCU MEN'S BASKETBALL COACH MARC BROWN TO APPEAR ON 'HOOPSVILLE' ON FEBRUARY 17

JERSEY CITY, NJ (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | New Jersey City University fourth-year head men's basketball coach MARC BROWN will be a guest on the national Division III basketball program 'Hoopsville' on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 8 p.m. Fans can watch the show, which airs from 7-9 p.m. on Thursdays and Sundays throughout the season, live by logging onto www.D3hoops.com.

Brown, who will be a guest of host Dave McHugh, will discuss the Gothic Knights remarkable second-half surge this season. After starting the year 3-6 overall and 0-2 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference, NJCU has put the pieces of the puzzle together and won nine consecutive games and 13-of-15 overall, with one game remaining in the regular season tonight at Montclair State University. NJCU has clinched second place in the NJAC North Division and an NJAC Tournament home game against Rowan University on Saturday, February 19 at 4 p.m. It will be NJCU's first appearance in the conference tournament since 2006-07.

"Hoopsville' is the only Division III basketball weekly talk show and is celebrating its ninth season on the air. Each show features reports from regional contributors, and interviews with coaches and players from around the country.
