“This CCIW is such a great conference,” says head coach Bosko Djurickovic. “You have to be really good to compete at the top level of this league. Going 7-7 is a good year for a lot of teams but not for us. This year, we have the bullets to go into the season ready to compete at the highest level. This freshman class is terrific. We’ve added strong players all over, especially inside. What shouldn’t get lost is that we return a lot of really good and very experienced players, and that combination is why we’re excited about the upcoming season.”

The Red Men open the season with a Nov. 15 home game against Transylvania University before playing host to the Nov. 20-21 Carthage Classic. Carthage’s opponents in that event include last year’s No. 5 team, Wisconsin-Platteville and No. 8 Wisconsin-Whitewater. Carthage plays in three other tournaments, the Nov. 27-28 Carroll University Classic, the Dec. 4-5 CCIW/MIAA Classic at Hope College and the Jan. 2-3 Wilkes-Barre Challenge at King’s College. Indiana-Northwest and Calumet College of St. Joseph round out the non-conference schedule.
