IWU women win first title

Olivia Lett cut down the net after IWU's first national title victory.

Two games left in the Division III women's baketball season and one to determine the 2012 national title. And that game goes to Illinois Wesleyan, 57-48 against George Fox.

Olivia Lett led the way with 22 points for Illinois Wesleyan, including 11-for-12 foul shooting. Lett was named the D3hoops.com 2012 Player of the Year.

Hannah Munger was injured five minutes into the game and did not return.

The third-place game was won by St. Thomas 87, which defeated Amherst 87-60.
