While Sam Durley was making a name for himself and making highlights on shows and websites across the country, a Division III basketball player was making a memorable debut.

Jordan Kindred went out for the Eureka football team this fall after scoring 12.2 points per game and leading the Red Devils in assists last season as a junior. The only thing was, he had never played football at any level. And he all he did was catch 13 passes for 235 yards as Durley threw for 736 yards in a 62-55 come-from-behind win at Knox.

Kindred and Durley talked about their memorable days with Pat Coleman of D3sports.com.
