Herenda
Cabrini men's coach out after a year
Cabrini men's coach Greg Herenda, a former assistant men’s coach at UMass Lowell from 1983-85, was selected as the Division II school's head men’s coach Friday following a nationwide search, athletic director Dana Skinner announced.
Herenda compiled a 12-14 record at Cabrini after inheriting a team that went 5-20, succeeds Ken Barer, who resigned recently after seven seasons. He inherits a UML squad which finished 12-17 overall (8-14 Northeast-10) and advanced to the quarterfinal round of the NE-10 Tournament with a 70-69 upset at Merrimack.
