Lord Jeffs revolve into No. 1 spot
The revolving door that the upper reaches of the D3hoops.com men's basketball Top 25 has turned again and moved defending national champion Amherst back into the No. 1 position.
The Lord Jeffs, who are 18-2, won a pair of NESCAC home games by six points each, which was more than enough to vault past Rochester, which had a 1-1 week. Amherst got 18 of the 25 No. 1 votes, with Mass-Dartmouth, the last unbeaten team remaining in Division III men's basketball, got the other seven.
Amherst was last No. 1 in the Week 2 poll of this season.
