DePauw, Wash U. clinch bids
DePauw and Washington University clinched bids to the women's NCAA women's NCAA Tournament as DePauw claimed the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference by beating Trinity (Texas) 79-66 and Wash U took the UAA title with a 75-45 win against Emory. The Tigers (20-2, 15-0 SCAC) captured at least a share of their fourth title in as many years since joining the conference and extended their school-record win streak to 19 games. The Tigers have now won at least 20 games in five of the last six seasons. Washington U., the four-time Division III defending champion, rolled past Emory 75-45 to win its 33rd consecutive game and clinch the UAA title outright. | |
