She hit six of nine from the floor in the second half including three three-point goals. She finished seven of 14 from the floor, four of nine outside the arc, and made both free throws.
Alex Porter had 14 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and six steals for Rochester. Julie Marriott scored 14 points and had six assists.
Jessica Chapin scored a team-high 16 points for the Judges. She hit three three-pointers. Jaime Capra had 12 points, and Cassidy Dadaos finished with 10.
Rochester won its 11th straight game. The Yellowjackets improved to 13-1 overall, 3-0 in the University Athletic Association. Brandeis is 10-4, 1-2 UAA.
Brandeis led by as much as eight in the first half, the last time on a layup by Lauren Rashford, with 4:50 to go. Courtney Donovan figured in eight straight Rochester points over the next 82 seconds as the Yellowjackets drew even at 24. She made two free throws, then assisted on a three-pointer by Johanna McNelis. Donovan finished the run with a conventional three-point play. She dropped in a layup,d rew a foul, and made the free throw. It was 30-30 at the half.
In the second half, a three-pointer by Rashford pulled Brandeis within one, 53-52, with 6:44 left. Marriott hit a jumper, then assisted on four Alwardt jumpshots - three of them from three-point range. The last opened a 66-54 Rochester lead with 2:51 left. The Yellowjackets made 11 free throws in the final two minutes to seal the win.
