Millsaps led 34-24 at halftime and extended its lead in the second half. The Majors shot 54 percent from the floor and hit 13 of 14 free throws. The Panthers shot 40 percent from the floor.
The Majors enjoyed a 35-22 advantage on the boards. Edrick Montgomery pulled down a game-high 17 rebounds for Millsaps.
Millsaps’ Tyler Warren had a game-high 18 points. Robby Lawrence and Demetris Render each had 12 points for the Panthers, while Michael Patterson added 11.
The Panthers travel to Huntingdon College on Wednesday, Feb. 1 for a GSAC game. Game time is 8 p.m.
