Chicago 76, Rochester 47

CHICAGO — Brandon Woodhead led four Maroons in double figures with 15 points as Chicago defeated Rochester 76-47 in University Athletic Association play at the Ratner Athletics Center.

Chicago (11-7 overall, 4-3 UAA) shot 72.7% from the field in the first half en route to taking a 42-20 lead at the intermission. The Maroons, who shot 65.2% for the game, led by at least 22 points throughout the second half.

Woodhead connected on seven of nine attempts from the field while handing out four assists.

Jason Vismantas hit six of seven field goal tries and finished with 13 points off the bench.

Clay Carmody and Jesse Meyer scored 11 and 10 points, respectively. Carmody was 4-for-5 from the floor, while Meyer was successful on three of seven attempts from three-point range. Meyer also grabbed a game-high nine rebounds and collected four assists.

Jon Onyiriuka led Rochester (12-6, 3-4) with a game-high 18 points. The Yellowjackets shot just 34.6% from the floor.
