Farmingdale State 109, Mount St. Mary 89

Newburgh, NY — Newburgh, NY - The Rams (12-4, 8-1) took over sole posession of first place in the Skyline today with a 109-89 win over Mount Saint Mary College (17-3, 8-2) in a men's basketball match-up in Newburgh, NY. Farmingdale led 50-28 at the half and was able to keep the pressure on throughout for the conference victory. Senior guard Dashawn Warren (Astoria, NY/W.C. Bryant) led the Rams with 29 points (5-of-10 from behind the arc), 14 rebounds and five assists.

Senior forward MD Mazique (Bronx, NY/Taft) finished with 23 points and was a perfect 10-for-10 at the charity stripe for Farmingdale State. Sophomore forward Warren McAllister (Far Rockaway, NY/Far Rockaway) tallied 20 points and grabbed nine boards. Senior forward Kenny McMillan (Bronx, NY/All Hallows) scored 10 points with eight rebounds.

Senior Julio Ramirez (Queens, NY/Hyde Prep) led Mount Saint Mary with a game-high 32 points, while junior Mike Hoyt (Florida, NY/S.S. Seward) finished with 30 points. Senior Brandon Weldon (Elmsford, NY/Alexander Hamilton) added 10 points.

The Rams will now host Old Westbury on Monday, January 30th in another conference game at 7:00pm. The game will be available to view LIVE, just click on LIVE GAMES on our homepage at www.farmingdalesports.com, coverage begins at 6:45pm.
