The Green Knights stayed within striking range throughout the contest and closed the gap to 59-52 with 6:16 left. But Chris Hebeler sandwiched two jumpers around a basket by Anthony Beaird to keep the Scots in control, and St. Norbert had three-pointers rattle out on two straight trips to seal their fate.
Beaird led the Scots, now 6-9 and 2-8, with 14 points and David Price added 13 to go with seven boards. Raun Singleton netted 12 points, including three-pointers on three straight trips in the second half, and Hebeler added seven assists.
Ryan Finnecke led the Knights with 19 points off the bench and Nathan Zepnick had 12 points and 10 rebounds. St. Norbert fell to 3-14 overall and 1-9 in the MWC.
