GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA — Gwynedd-Mercy used an 18-0 run early in the second half to pull away from Marywood and defeat the Pacers, 72-50, in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference action Saturday afternoon at the Griffin Complex.

Freshman Jack Forth led four Griffins in double-digits as he scored 13 points. Senior Francis Bowe and junior Rashid Santiago each added 12 apiece and junior Frank Barder chipped in 10.

GM led 42-36 with just under 14 minutes to play before a three-pointer from Forth help ignite the long scoring stretch.

Adam Wildasin netted 13 for Marywood (4-15, 1-11 PAC) as the Pacers lost their eighth-straight game. Josh Slee added 10 points and six boards as MU shot 18-of-56 (32.1%) for the game and held a 37-34 edge on the glass.

Gwynedd shot (7-11, 5-6 PAC) 65% from the floor in the second half and scored 34 points off of 20 Pacer turnovers.
