The Bobcats (16-2, 5-0 NESCAC) extended their school-record win streak to 13 games with the win. The visiting Camels (11-8, 1-4 NESCAC) have lost five of their last six games.
Sophomore Charles Stone led Connecticut College with 16 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the floor, to go with a game-high 11 rebounds. Billy Karis added 11 points.
Stockwell became the 26th Bates man to reach 1,000 points. Needing 13 to reach the plateau entering the game, Stockwell got it with a pivot move in the paint around the Camels' Ulises Veras and a 10-foot bank shot with 13:39 to play in the game.
Sophomore Bryan Wholey added 18 points for Bates, and Pat Halloran scored 11.
Bates plays host to Wesleyan Saturday at 3 p.m., while Connecticut College plays at Tufts.
