PINEVILLE, La. — Thursday night in Pinevilley, Louisiana College overcame a 15-point second half deficit to tie the score at 58 with 3:24 remaining, but the University of Ozarks would close the game with a 13-4 run to claim a nine-point victory over Louisiana College, 71-62. Once LC tied the game, the Ozarks’ Brad Sibley and Jacob Sibley took the game on their shoulders, scoring all of Ozarks’ 13 points to close out the game. Kase Gonzales and Morey Skluzacek scored 13 points and 10 points respectively to led LC, now losers of six games in a row. LC will close out their five-game homestand Saturday, hosting Austin College at 3:00 p.m.
