Albertus Magnus 90, Daniel Webster 73NASHUA, NH — Albertus Magnus made use of 10 three pointers and its fast break to score its second win of the season, both over the Eagles of Daniel Webster, 90-73. It was a different scoring scenario in both halves for the Falcons as the Eagles spotted them a nine point bulge at the half on three-pointers, and then saw the New Haven club use its layups to reach the total. The Eagles didn’t go down without a fight as Neal Foley accomplished his second double-double with 11 boards and a season high 27 points. Kenny Ouellette added 14 points and senior Chris Fox 13 to complete the double digit scoring. Dan Haynes added five boards for the Eagles with senior Chris Boone chippng in with four. For the Falcons, they finished with five players in double figures with Shawn Mendenhall leading the pack with 23 and Victor Purnell a close second with 22. Bobby Leonzo added 18 and Adam Hovan and Bill Rose each reached the unlucky 13 figure for the winners. The Eagles host Emerson on Saturday at 3 p.m.
