Washington and Jefferson 72, Grove City 57WASHINGTON, Pa. — The Grove City College men's basketball team fell to 7-12 overall and 3-3 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Wednesday night with a 72-57 loss to homestanding Washington and Jefferson at the Henry Memorial Center.
Washington and Jefferson (7-12, 5-1 PAC) shot 27 of 49 (55 percent) from the floor for the game. The Presidents used a 17-6 spurt early in the second half to take command of the game after leading 29-21 at halftime. Junior forward Mark Smith led the Wolverines with 16 points and five rebounds.
