The hot-shooting offense fired 50% from the field and went 22 for 31 from the free throw line in the contest. Leading the offensive attack was senior guard Duke Cooper, who pumped in a team-high 22 points. He also collected seven rebounds and six assists. Cooper also tied the school's single game record for free throws made by connecting on 14 of 17 shots. He now holds the record along with former Bobcat players Kevin Conlon (2001-05), and Jason Trout (1996-00).
Other key players for the Bobcats included Daniel Waajid, who recorded a 'double-double' with 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Bill Scavincky, who registered 18 points, nine boards, and three steals.
The Lions were led by guard Tyler Franklin, who scored a game-high 26 points.
The Bobcats are back in action Friday, January 27, when they travel to face off against AMCC foe Pitt-Bradford. Game time is set for 8:00 PM.
